Things I don't Want To See via Reggaeton In 2021

2. Perreo as a buzzword. I'm convinced most Pop artists saying 'Perreo' haven't twerked a day in their lives LMAO. and that's ok! but granted, let's let it shine in its individual greatness, as pop can shine on its own as well.

3. Exclusion of Lady Artists' names on major hit records. It is 2021, for crying out loud. We Want to see women's names written for everyone to see on these songs, as well as starring in the music videos as well. DEJA EL RELAJO

4. "Latino Lives Matter" La Vergüenza.

5. Black Women were Added In The Background of Music Videos last minute. It is so obvious when 1 is added, "so they can't say there isn't one in the video," you are fooling NOBODY.

6. Tokenizing #LaRepresentacionNOImporta I'm over being 'represented' by the same ONE or TWO artists over and over; add some black artists to your rosters @ Labels.

7. This Response: "I don't talk on Race because I'm scared of being canceled. I'm a good person" Racism isn't about actions taken on an individual level; it's systemic, and if you're white? You're part of said system, so 'be a good person' and raise your voice.

8. Lack of balance: Fetishizing of Black women in nonromantic songs. Have you noticed the songs where we're in Abundance tend to all be sexual? I don't see any... black women.. ever.. in romantic songs. We're worthy of love. This is dangerous...Change this. Expeditiously.

9. Lack of conversation on appropriation / educating fans while sporting 'Hood Ghetto Chic' all over your branding. It's insulting to Negrxs. You're wearing our aesthetics as a costume... can you at least expand on said subject matter? Educate your fans to be respectful to us.

10. Conversations on race without Black Moderators / Critics / Comunicadoras Socials. It's evident that race education is lacking can you at least hire*, yes, PAY * Black people for this emotional labor so it’s done correctly, please? gracias

11. I need ... people to accept Panamanian-Afro antillanxs as caribeñxs. Nothing hits harder than knowing every afro antillano I know speaking patois, raices in JA, Trinidad Barbados etc., and being told, "You're in Central America you don’t count" EXCUSE ME LMAO IN THIS MUSIC?!

12. Blackface.
